Foral taxation: what changes if your company pays taxes in Navarre

Navarre has its own tax authority thanks to the Economic Agreement, and that is also reflected in invoicing software. Neither TicketBAI (the system of Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa) nor Verifactu (the Spanish Tax Agency’s system) applies to business activity taxed with the Hacienda Foral de Navarra. Navarre is preparing its own system: NaTicket.

Verifactu The equivalent system run by the Spanish Tax Agency. Does not apply to activity taxed in Navarre. It does apply to any part of your activity that, under the Economic Agreement, is taxed with the Spanish Tax Agency.

Migration to Proxmox from VMware, Hyper-V or other platforms

Since Broadcom acquired VMware and moved to subscriptions, many companies have seen their virtualisation costs skyrocket. Proxmox Virtual Environment is the open-source alternative we have been implementing since 2013: virtual machines and containers, high availability, Ceph storage and backups with Proxmox Backup Server, with official Proxmox support if you want it.

We migrate from VMware vSphere/ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, Citrix/XenServer or physical servers, and we do it without surprises:

  1. Inventory and assessment. Current machines, licences, storage, network and backups; with that we calculate your savings and the hardware you can reuse.
  2. Pilot. We set up the Proxmox cluster and first migrate the least critical machines to validate performance and backups.
  3. Phased migration. The rest, in agreed windows outside working hours so production never stops, with a rollback plan ready.
  4. High availability and backups. If a node fails, the machines start on another one; encrypted, deduplicated backups are tested by restoring them.
  5. Maintenance. Patches, updates and continuous monitoring, with support from Oiartzun.

The Government of Navarre announces the Fomento de la Empresa Digital (Digital Business Promotion) grants every year for companies with an establishment in Navarre. In the 2026 call, the grant is up to €30,000 per company and covers the implementation of digital solutions, digital transformation and cybersecurity plans, and training. Frequently asked questions

Do you work with companies in Pamplona, Tudela or Estella?

Yes. We work across Navarre: most of the project is done remotely, with the visits needed for the analysis, kick-off and training. From Oiartzun we are an hour from Pamplona.

If my company pays taxes in Navarre, do I have to comply with Verifactu?

For activity taxed with the Hacienda Foral de Navarra, no: the Navarrese system will be NaTicket. Verifactu only affects the part of your activity that, under the Economic Agreement, is taxed with the Spanish Tax Agency.

When will NaTicket become mandatory?

As of October 2026 there is no date. The Hacienda Foral included it in its 2025-2027 Anti-Fraud Plan and is developing its systems in 2026; the rollout will be gradual. It is advisable to choose invoicing software from a provider that has already been through TicketBAI or Verifactu.

Odoo Community or Enterprise?

Our preference is Community with OCA modules: no per-user licences and full control of the code. If you need features that only Enterprise offers or you prefer Odoo’s hosting, we will gladly implement Enterprise for you.

Can I use AI in Odoo without my data leaving the company?

Yes. The Binovo Apps AI modules support local models with Ollama, as well as Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT or DeepSeek using your own key.

How long does it take to migrate from VMware to Proxmox?

It depends on the number of machines and the amount of storage. After the inventory, we give you a phased schedule; critical machines are migrated in agreed windows so that your business keeps running.
